Dear Editors Everywhere:

Dear Editors Everywhere:
America ranks 37th. In what? Providing adequate healthcare for ALL its citizens.
I believe our forefathers would be rolling in their graves right now, if they could see what health insurance companies are allowing to happen to American citizens. They believed in helping others, and wanted to create a country where people could have, “life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness”. When 123 Americans die every day because they lack health care or the insurance company will not pay for their illness, then we cannot have what our forefathers wanted. We fought the British for independence and opportunity and now the British are not dying from lack of healthcare, but 46,000 United States citizens are dying every year. Insurance companies deny claims, but still charge ridiculous amounts for a person to be “insured”, although they cannot be “sure” the insurance company won’t let them die. They also refuse to cover people with pre-existing conditions and these people are given their freedom: freedom to die.
Meanwhile, we spend more money on health care than any other country, and yet we are the ones who are dying. This is an outrage and our forefathers would have approved a revolution against this tyrannical system. The insurance companies must be regulated or outlawed. Our lives depend on it.
